FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), was founded by Dean Kamen. Dean is an entrepreneurial inventor who has many patents and also invented the amazing Segway human transporter. The FIRST Robotics Competition is an opportunity for high school students around the globe to build and test a robot.
